Our Muse - Freybe and 1844

Meet Freybe! An award-winning Canadian food brand synonymous with high-quality meats. Their mission, to 'connect people through the love of great food,' is accomplished by putting the excitement back into eating.

Determined to elevate their products to greater heights, they introduced 1844 – a bold line of super-premium products with real ingredients that would shoot the brand to stardom. Imagine a product so luxurious that even your taste buds need a red carpet. From new flavors like tequila and ghost pepper to reimagined classics like asiago and black pepper, the product line put a savory new twist on everyone’s favorite salami.

We had tons of material to work with when brainstorming the concept behind their campaign, hoping to set the next trend in the world of video marketing!

Embrace the EXTRAORDINARY

The 1844 line was our ultimate inspiration for the campaign's concept. Our vision was to transport viewers through a world as vibrant and enchanting as the products themselves.

We introduced Julie, the campaign’s first protagonist, to lead viewers through the ultimate sensory experience of all six flavors from the 1844 line. She represents the joy that comes with experiencing your food and embracing the extraordinary behind everyday life.

The 1844 product line uses expressive color palettes, uniquely chosen for each product. Armed with lights, cameras, and an appetite for creativity, we brought together a campaign to satisfy Freybe’s craving for insatiable content. With a combination of stylized color grading, production design, and sound design, the campaign celebrated the magic of everyday moments.

Publication and Results

The end result of this campaign is a series of six videos that reflect the individual flavor profile of each product. As one of our social media management clients, we prioritized the strategy behind the publication of Freybe’s 1844 campaign and product launch. We teased the campaign on social media, collaborated with macro-influencers, announced giveaways with all products, and strategically curated content to fit platform parameters.

The publishing strategy focused on a small ad spend to support organic reach and foster a connection with the targeted audience. Check out these results!

✨Over 500,000 impressions in 4 weeks

✨179% engagement rate surge on Instagram

✨208% boost in Instagram profile activity

✨Average of 30 profile visits per day

✨Community growth by 18%

From ONE shoot, we captured the six brand videos, video stills, a series of product photos, and two behind-the-scenes videos and photos. The best outcome there could be from a content marketing workshop, allowing us to pre-plan Freybe’s content calendar for months in advance.

Conclusion

The only problem with this project was keeping the products in front of the cameras and off of our plates!
