Navi + Harj /// “Guys, I don’t think I’m going to cry….”

I had just finished filming some amazing dancing and Celebrating when Navi tapped me on the shoulder and said “Mat, I don’t think I am going to cry on the wedding day”. She was referring to the Doli Ceremony that was just a few short days away. This is a Ceremony were the Bride leaves home for the last time and it symbolizes “becoming a woman”. Honestly, it’s a very emotional moment, one we have been privileged enough to film on a few separate occasions. I thought it was funny that she was worried about that and I told her not to think about it; just enjoy the moment what ever happens will be awesome!

Sure enough during the Doli Ceremony just before Navi headed out the door she started to realize just how important this moment was. The emotion that her parents, siblings and close family and friends were expressing were overwhelming and sure enough Navi did get emotional. It was an amazing moment to film and one that we will remember for a long time.
